In an ever developing market and changing world it is becoming more and more important for growers to maximize their crops whilst minimizing the inputs. These are important both for achieving a good financial result but also for minimizing our environmental impact.
This presentation will discuss the concept of precision growing and why it is important both for the individual grower, the industry in general and the environment. We will compare how precision growing was viewed in the past and the present.
Climate and irrigation both have influence on the balance and growth of the plant. It is possible to use these as tools, putting precision growing into practice, to control the growth of the plant during the entire growing season resulting in maximum yield and highest quality for the lowest inputs.
